Who here has a Dance ministry for God? What songs do you dance to in your ministry? I'm a praise dancer for God & I dance to mercyme - I can only Imagine. I'm currently working on a praise dane to I'll give you praise by Keith Johnson.

well i'm on a local christian performing arts team, so its prolly not exactly the same, cuz we sing as well as dance and act.... but who knows, this might help anyways and thats all that counts we use a bunch of the old Continentals songs since they do the same type of stuff as us, only they're national and their stuff goes on in the summer.......i dunno if you've heard of them before....if you really love dance or singing for God, you might like to check them out...www.continentals.com ....i went on tour with them (only it was the canadian team) and it was a ton of fun, i'm sure you would enjoy it too if thats the kind of stuff you like anyways, we've covered a ton of stuff, this year we've been doing a bunch of songs such as: Jesus Is Life by Steven Curtis Chapman, Shackles by Mary Mary, Revive Us by Annointed, The Call (i'm not sure who its by....), Jesus Is by Girls of Grace....etc.

JUst to name a few.

Our team started with nothing and it's amazing to see where God has brought us. We now have a wide variety of Banners and flags and as you know they are vey expensive. We never had to purchase any of them. Different people and other teams blessed us.

Our very first routine we had no special clothing we wore black pants wiht white t-shirts. LOL, now we all have jazz shoes and different garments we wear.

I rmemeber the first time our instructor stuck a flag in my hand, I remember thinking, "what do I do with this" Now I cna dance and do a routine holding 2 flags.

It's amazing to look back and see how far God has brought our dance team.

I dance at church, too. We dance to Jewish music as well as dance the actual Jewish style. Our current schedule is three dances every other week at church. I absolutely love it! I can't dance at all but, my spirit loves to dance and the Jewish dance comes totally natural. God Bless you all for using your given talents to worship our Father.

I used to be part of something called worship dance. It is a mix up jazz, ballet and a few other things, but ballet and jazz are the focus. We danced to any christian music....and it is a very big thing so it would be hard to name all the songs. Some girls have even done dances to Relient k songs. wicked.

I have my own dance team that I choreograph for at church. we are called the Daughters of Zion. We are currently dancing to some hispanic flavored worship music and some Jewish inspired music by Paul Wilbur. I love worshipping Yeshua with my whole self.

Im in the dance ministry, Im in a hip hop dance group at my church, and we dance to christian and non christian music, one of the guys in our group (about 7 of us) does some DJing and he makes mixes with heaps of different songs, sometimes we just dance to glorify God, with any songs, other times we tell a story of have a message, so we mix songs that tell a story and dance it out which is cool. Im also just heading up another team, which to will be kinda hiphop/ jazz, with the high school age which is gona be fun.

i like quick dancing more hip hop i normall dance to the fast Newsboys songs.

My husband and I are over the children's drama team at our church and we are doing a human video to "Tha Converstation" by the Paynes and sign to The Great Divide by Point of Grace.The children range from ages 5 - 14 and they are doing an awesome job. We love being in this ministry, it is such a blessing.

We are dancing to "I can only imagine", "lord, I lift your name on high", "sanctuary" and "light your candle". OUr dance really touched people because we do not do it for show, but when we are up there we are truly praising God!

We done our first "human video" to The Converstation on Easter, we had 2 that came back to Christ, one of those was my brother!!!! The kids done an awesome job, they were alittle nervous at first but God took over and it was GREAT!!!!
