Well then how do you like it if I question or am sceptical about your miracle of salvation. ;)

Ask for more details that's fine. But don't come with this "this must be a hoax" attitude and don't accuse me of sensationalising things. If you bothered to read the testimony, there is nothing "sensationalised" about it. It is just a straightforward reporting of what happened.

I also believe that many people especially in the WOF camp sensationalize a lot of things.

That's really unecessary and I've reported your post.

Unnecessary? I am not entitled to my opinion of what is my experience?
I did put the words "in my opinion" in front to differentiate my opinion from a blanket statement of fact.
Whatever.

I'm not going to sit here and say that it could or couldn't happen, I would however be a little skeptical and question whether the Dr. couldn't find any kind of heart activity. Some people can appear dead and still have an extremely slow heart rate, I spent 3 years as a Paramedic in Toledo, Ohio and saw several instances where a victim was pronounced and their heart was still beating, Might have only been 10-15 beats per minute, But, They were still alive. People can also have a heart rhythm and not even have it show up on a moniter.

Iddie4Him,

What was reported was that the patient had no heartbeat, no pulse. Singapore is not some backward third-world country with questionable 'doctors' and old equipment. We have some of the world's/region's first in medical science.

There are all sorts of sophistcated equipment that the patient is hooked up to in the ICU. It can't be that all the equipment and all the doctors were wrong for three days.

Erin-Joy,

Thanks! Praise God he still raises the dead!

The mentality today is no different then in the day when Jesus was walking the earth. You could have the dead raised right in front of a persons eyes, and they would still ask for proof.
I have heard of these stories in Paupu New Guinea of the dead being raised. A question was put to a minister over there, why we don't see these things happening in the US? His response was that the peoples minds haven't been poisoned with the worlds junk, and their minds over there are like a little childs..IE: Childlike faith.
Luke 18:17 ~ Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. This isn't talking about accepting Jesus. This is talking about receiving the things of the kingdom of God.
Luke 17:21 ~ Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU.. My question is, how can the kingdom of God be in someone, if they don't have faith to believe the dead being raised? To me, that would be a natural thing happening if I witnessed it myself. Very exciting!!!!

I do not doubt this "dead raising" one bit. Jesus said that we would be raising the dead, and I hope I am still alive when it hits this nation.
Hebrews 11:35 ~ Women RECEIVED THEIR DEAD raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today, and forever....Heb. 13:8.
People try to keep God in a box. He isn't going to stay there!!!!!!

Thanks By His Grace (great post!) and Tami!

I just remembered 3 more things after I heard the sermon tape again:

1. It was an intestinal tumour that she was suffering from.
2. In her dead state, her lungs were filled with liquid.
3. When she went home, she called up all her friends and told them about Jesus and what He had done for her. :)

hmmm...some people are skeptical about raising people from the dead.

I remember reading something about a Korean pastor in Seoul who had witness some accounts in which God used him to raise people from the dead. I forget his name, but it did drew attention about that issue of raising from the dead.

I truly do believe that God can do such for today.
