Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
____________________

Many Christians love their church

Many love singing hymns and praises to the Lord and they love praying and singing in tongues or dancing and running in the isles or waving their hands in the air or rolling around on the floor.

Many love entertaining displays of "miracles" on stage where people get knocked down or preachers speaking great things and funny storys about their life experiences, rather than having them teach from God's word, line by line, chapter and verse.

Many do all sorts of religious things and support all sorts of charitable causes all the while believing they are doing the will of the Father which is in heaven.

One big problem to this. Their religious play-acting has turned their beth-els into beth-avens.

They never really studied His Word to get to know Him and understand His will.

[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
____________________

These are those that would allow themselves to by deceived by the false preachers who come in His name, claiming to be Christ's representatives, and teach the people after the "precepts of church" and not directly from the Word of God.
____________________

[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
____________________

The reason Christ never knew them is because He never saw their faces in the pages of His Word wherein He dwelled all the time while they were busy doing other religious things.

They did not hunger and thirst for Him.
They did not "love the truth".

And for this reason God shall "prove them" and send Satan as Jesus Christ (antichrist) to teach them a big lesson
___________________

2 Thes. 2:11
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
____________________

The cause is that they loved not the truth, His Word!

They would rather listen to some story-telling preacher promise them they are going to be raptured before the Spurious messiah (antichrist) shows-up.

The problem is that the Son of perdition (antichrist) is going to take over their Beth-avens because they built them upon sand from the straw doctrines taken from the traditions of men.
____________________

The big lie that they will believe comes directly from the father of lies himself, Satan.

The big lie will be, JESUS CHRIST HAS RETURNED when actually it's SATAN THE DEVIL disguised and Jesus Christ.
(very soon)

Will you go to his wedding feast and be taken prematurely, out of season ?
____________________

[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
____________________

The traditions of men are unrighteousness, for they will lead you straight to worshipping antichrist.

But our people love traditions and hang onto them.

They love their pagan "Easter" (Ishtar) and the sexual fertility symbols of "quick like a bunny" and rolling Ishtar's eggs, when
the word "Easter" isn't even in the manuscripts of the New Testament.

Neither is the word "rapture" to be found, anywhere! The word Harpazo is close, but this occurs when Jesus Christ returns at His second advent and sets-up His Millennial Kingdom. Only then will All with be changed.

Neither is the word "apple" in the Book of Genesis!

I could go on and on with the traditions of men, but the sad reality is that our people are just plain Biblically illiterate and do not really know the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Word of God.

Our Father says it best:

Jeremiah 4:22
For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

The word "sottish" means "stupid".
(See note in the Companion Bible.)

II Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
____________________

All Scripture that was written in the Word of God was given by the Holy Spirit of God.

It is also through the Holy Spirit, that will reveal to you the doctrine or teaching that you are to know from this Word.

It doesn't come from any man, but from the Spirit of God and His Word. "For reproof" is so that you can prove it for yourself and see that it is true and real by studying and reading the Bible on your own, to show when something is right or wrong.

"For correction" is to help you change those things that are not in accordance with God's Word. Correction is a daily thing in your life, for as long as you are in your flesh body, you will be doing things and saying things that need correction.

Instruction in righteousness means to discipline yourself in those things you know to be righteous.

We are living in that time when deception and false doctrine will be at its greatest, and that is why we must stay in His Word for our instruction into righteousness, and discipline ourselves to pay attention to what is said and the events that are going on around us each day.
____________________

II Timothy 3:17 "That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
____________________

This word "perfect", should be mature.

The only thing that is perfect about any man is the Holy Spirit that is dwelling within him.

We all will fall short, even after we have been saved, and that is why we must daily go to our Father in repentance in Jesus name.

Never follow any man or teacher to be a role model that you have propped up to be your idol, for all men and women fall short of God's standard while they are in the flesh body, and are servants no better than you or I

>>[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

I have prayed about this verse a lot, and spent a far amount of time seeking after God to help me to understand it's meaning. If Jesus had used the word "few" I would not have paid all that much attention to this verse. But He uses the word "many".

Paul talks about these people, so lets see what Paul says:

Romans 10:2-3 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. [3] For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

These people have a "zeal" for God. But they will not submit themselves to the righteousness of God. They will not seperate themselves onto God to live Holy, sanctified, dedicated, consecrated lives. For the most part, they love to get together on Sunday and have a party, but they do not want to get serious about living right for God. They do not want to give up the works of the flesh.

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jesus tells them to depart, because they work "iniquity". They transgress the law. They preach and teach that you do not have to live right before God. They tell people that you can go right on being a sinner and be forgiven for it.

1 Cor. 11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

Here is another verse that uses the word "many". Again, they do not discern that the Blood of Jesus is to CLEANSE us of our sin. They try to say you can go right on being a sinner and be forgiven for it. For this reason "MANY" are sick and "MANY" have died an early death. Because they want to live their life in the world and in the flesh and they do not want to live righteous before God.

Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, [20] Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, [21] Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

John, great insight. I <love> the instructions that Jesus gives the disciples on praying correctly to the father. We are told NOT to pray aloud (and zealous) before others, because it is nothing to recieve your reward from man. But rather, to pray in private to the father; with humbleness and meekness, so that God will reward <you> openly.
And also with fasting. We are told NOT to walk among others with our face marked, so that we can recieve our reward from man. But to wash our face, and fast in private to the Father, so that he will reward us openly.
To have an intimate relationship with God, is his desire of all of us. I believe that is what makes it holy.

Unworthily partake, not unworthy to partake.

I Corinthians 11:28 "But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup."
____________________

If you can't remember those events that surround the crucifixion when partaking then examine yourself for what is on your mind.

Are your thoughts on the breakfast that follows the early morning service, the Easter egg hunt that follows, complete with little bunnies that the kids play with, or is it on that new bonnet.

If your mind is not completely on the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, than don't take that cup.
____________________

I Corinthians 11:29 "For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body."
____________________

If your mind is not in that remembrance mode, then you are drinking to your own damnation.

Did you get that the subject here is "not discerning the Lord's body".

You had better not be thinking of those sins that you have committed, but your entire focus is on the Lord's Body that was crucified for your sins.

It is Jesus Christ that was able to make the sacrifice for the sins of those that would repent.

Get your mind off those traditions of men that like to draw you from the table of the Lord, and focus it on the only place that God say is worth of consideration at this time.

Examine yourself as to what is in your mind and thoughts before you go to the table of the Lord.
____________________

I Corinthians 11:30 "For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep."
____________________

"Sleep" is to be spiritually dead, and many are spiritually weak and sickly because they do not partake of the True Bread, which is Jesus Christ.

They never really got into His Word and stayed there. They would rather listen to stories about the bible rather than amercing themselves in it.

Staying in His Word, chapter and verse.

It is through His stripes that we are healed; they play church instead of concentrating on the one focal point, the One who was pure.

It is through Christ that God's love will pour into our soul, and fill our being. This is the one time to realize that you don't play Christian, for your either are, or you are not.

Those that do not understand the covering of the head that Paul is talking about, are spiritually dead.

Jesus Christ is our covering :holy:

I Corinthians 11:31 "For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged."
____________________

Can you judge yourself?

If you are waiting to judge yourself when it is time for communion, then forget it. You will never be ready because there will always be something that will hinder your perfection.

But when you consider the body of Christ, you had better know that Christ was worthy if you take of the cup.

Only God can judge man and he knows your heart and what is in your mind. This is why we must repent, and then focus on the cross and put our complete trust in Jesus to save.

It’s not if we think we are good enough, we aren’t. It’s if we believe Christ was good enough to pay the price for our Sins.

He is worthy :) Thank you Jesus !

Have a great day
Peace & God bless :)
