1) Are you a commited Christian? Yes.

2) How did you become a Christian?

I was born in a Christian family. I fiddled around with accepting Christ til I was 8. At a rally at our church I finally made it real. That was 30 years ago yesterday!

3)Do you belong to a particular denomination of the Church? No

4)Are you confirmed? No.

5)Do communicate with God in any particular way? Prayer

6)How often do you go to Church? 2-3 times per week.

7)What beliefs do you hold that make you a Christian?

I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose for my sins and because of his atonement I stand before Christ positionally pure. To that end, I dedicate myself to living as Christ would and instructs me to via the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and pastoral guidance.

8)What makes you different from a non-Christian?

Sometimes, not much. Many of my agnostic/atheist/other friends are equally moral and live with integrity. The only difference is that I don't live rightly because it is right but because I acknowledge the Founder of rightness.

9)What do you think it means to be a disciple?

See answer 7.

10)Do you consider yourself a disciple?

By definition, yes. A good Disciple? Only inasmuch as I consistently adhere to what I said above.

11)Have you ever done anything against Christianity?

Not sure what you mean. Have I sinned? Yes. Have I been a poor testimony? Quite probably, yes.

12) Are there any things you wouldn't do because you're a Christian?

I would like to think that like my atheist/agnostic/other friends who maintain integrity I would likewise have integrity regardless of whether I knew God or not. IOW, there is nothing I would do were I not a Christian that I don't do now.

) Are you a commited Christian? Yes

2) How did you become a Christian? Accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 25.

3)Do you belong to a particular denomination of the Church? Nondenominational charismatic church - guess that's a "no"

4)Are you confirmed? Do not know what that is, so I guess not

5)Do communicate with God in any particular way? Prayer, worship

6)How often do you go to Church? 2 to 3 times a week

7)What beliefs do you hold that make you a Christian? That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died to make atonement for my sins, that He was raised from the dead for my eternal life, and that He is the only way to have eternal life.

8)What makes you different from a non-Christian? I'm forgiven (see #7)

9)What do you think it means to be a disciple? To be a committed follower of Christ

10)Do you consider yourself a disciple? Yes

11)Have you ever done anything against Christianity? Have I sinned? Yes.

(12) Are there any things you wouldn't do because you're a Christian? Deny Christ. Also, there are many things that I did before knowing Jesus, that I would not and do not do now, because of the change that He has brought to my heart and mind.

Am curious as to why you ask these questions. ?

1) Are you a commited Christian?
Yes.
2) How did you become a Christian?
It was over a really long period of hard time in which God's presence in my life had been confirmed time over time again. I've been going to church since a little kid, but it wasn't till a couple of years ago did i really look into the meaning of being a Christian.
3)Do you belong to a particular denomination of the Church?
No
4)Are you confirmed?

5)Do communicate with God in any particular way?

6)How often do you go to Church?
every sunday and sometimes friday night (fellowship)
7)What beliefs do you hold that make you a Christian?
Jesus rose from the dead.
All of us are sinners, no one is righteous.

To follow God's will.
10)Do you consider yourself a disciple?
No.
11)Have you ever done anything against Christianity?

12) Are there any things you wouldn't do because you're a Christian?
Things that go against God's teaching. One very conscious thing is to refrain from saying "Oh my God," instead, say, "Oh my gosh!"

As much as God gives me the grace to be.  Sometimes I feel like I'm a Christian that should be committed (In the insane sense)! ;)

2) How did you become a Christian?

God saved me.

3)Do you belong to a particular denomination of the Church?

Nope.  I am a reformed Christian but not denominationally allied.  Reformed Presbyterian is probably the closest though.

4)Are you confirmed?

What's that mean?

5)Do communicate with God in any particular way?

Through prayer and the study of His Word mostly, though not nearly enough.

6)How often do you go to Church?

Everyday.  Life is relationships and learning how to deal with relationships in a godly way is what "church" is all about.

7)What beliefs do you hold that make you a Christian?

Faith in the works of Christ as a propitiation for my sins, and the imputation of His righteousness to me and all other children of God.

8)What makes you different from a non-Christian?

I have been forgiven my of my sins and have a new desire and ability to please my Father (Phil 2:13).

2 Corinthians 5:14
For the love of Christ compels us

9)What do you think it means to be a disciple?

Discipleship is about being conformed to the image of Christ.  Being a disciple means that we desire the things that God is bringing about in our lives, even the bad things, because, like Christ, we learn obedience through our suffering.

10)Do you consider yourself a disciple?

Yes.

11)Have you ever done anything against Christianity?

Every time I sin.

12) Are there any things you wouldn't do because you're a Christian?

But for the grace of God, there go I.  God's grace is the only thing that enables us to live in the state of grace in which He rebirthed us.

Thank you and God bless,

Don

1) Are you a commited Christian?
YES!

2) How did you become a Christian?
I asked God and I prayed and then I figured out that maybe I better ask Jesus and so I knelt down one day,,, and asked him to teach me, i asked God to teach me about Jesus first i think, not neccessarily praying, wherever I was I would just sort of pray/ask....

3)Do you belong to a particular denomination of the Church?
non-denominationl pretty much, but also fond of the littler denoms like assembly of God, church of God etc...

4)Are you confirmed?
Yes by the RCC but I renounced it.

5)Do communicate with God in any particular way?
I pray, and then the Holy Spirit is here... thats a whole nuther intense area...

6)How often do you go to Church?
Used to go every sunday, then had a falling out with one of the childrens leaders at our church who would yell at my kid alot which wasn't real nice I thought... she was only 5 years old... so we stopped going on aregular basis but now we like to keep the sabbath on the 7th day anyway,,, listen everyday on the radio, do support those ministries as well....

7)What beliefs do you hold that make you a Christian?
Its beyond belief once the Holy spirit gets a hold on you... it's fact. You know him and the longer you know him the better you know him, he keeps you in ine, except some chastising the first few years but well worth it you will tearfully thank him years later...

8)What makes you different from a non-Christian?
Grace. The Holy Spirit. The spirit of life within changes you. You are not the same as you were before... literally. Its a noticable difference.

9)What do you think it means to be a disciple?
Follow. By the rules.

10)Do you consider yourself a disciple?
Maybe. Just a friend of Jesus really.

11)Have you ever done anything against Christianity?
Not really even before I was saved. I always respected it.
I hurt myself though...

12) Are there any things you wouldn't do because you're a Christian?
No, most of that stuff I have no desire to do anyway... never did really just got messed up in it... hated it, maybe thats how I got saved, I needed out and bad...

Thanks

You're welcome.
