Exactly. If you're going to play Unreal Tournament, a controller just isn't going to hack it.

I am not a console player but I did really like the Gamecube controller.

Funny that I found this thread, I was actually doing a search on google for a joke about the xbox controller and this thread came up.

Out of those 3, I prefer the PS2 controller.

If you asked me I would say the game cube controller, because all of the buttons are close together and easier to get to plus it fits my hand better...

Love the Xbox controller but are we talking Xbox Controller or Xbox-S (Which is the new smaller one)?

The thing I HATE is that the white and black button where totaly moved on the Controller-S design, so if you swap during a gaming party from a big controller to a S one, ur game is stuffed for about 10 minutes (during halo anyway) while you continue to hit the wrong buttons.

Oh well!!

I like both, but prefer the original big chunky one. Made for adult gamers that one!!!

Gotta confess though... for 1st person shooters... give me an N64 controller any day! That trigger button was just right! Ahhhh golden eye!!!

Totaly agree which is why I game more on my PC than my Xbox unless i have mates round.

But it begs the question.... what game?

If it's a flight sim, give me a joystick or nothing!

If it's a racing game, cant beat Wheel and pedals!

If it's FPS, cant beat KB and Mouse.....

Shall we go into the use of VR Head Gear and gyroscopic fields or shall I stop there?

...oh and Dance mats!!! I really want to try playing something like Dead or Alive 3 but on a Dance Mat.!!! Not only would that be GREAT with mates round, but it'd have to get you fit surley!!!!!

It definitely depends on what game. Overall, I'm a fan of the Gamecube controller, but Soul Calibur 2 and Halo go real well for me on the S controller for X-box. I'm not a fan of the big controller, and I've got big hands, so it's not just a made-for-adults controller The big controller feels like it's made for big hands with small fingers. My thumb always cramps up trying to reach 2 of the main buttons at a time while still playing the trigger. But to each his own.

Gamecube controller, its small easy to use and the buttons are placed very well. Next PS2, then Xbox(too bulky)

32/64 bit - Playstation

I like the PS2 probably since it is the one I play with the most.

I don't have any of the new systems, But I have played them all....

8 bit-I never played the master system, so I vote for NES

16- I dunno, The genesis 6-button was cool

32/64 I have both, and I would say playstation. The only Issue I have with the 64 is it is hard to access the L button when using Z and vice Versa.

New consoles- I am used to the Ps controller, so I would vote PS2.

Dreamcast, hands down. I've never been uncomfortable using it, which is more than I can say for any other controller.

SNES was probably the most comfortable for me. But out of those choices, PS2.

Well I have enjoyed the PS/PS2 controller for years now and I have found it to be quite comfortable. However, tomorrow I think I'll be liking the Gamecube controller as well (I have held it before) when I open my gifts tomorrow.
