The Holy Spirit spoke to me about...

The Holy Spirit spoke to me about Baptism, through a book called "Little Girls Bible Storybook".

This story was based on Matthew 8:5-13 Here is what it said-

"Sir(God). I polished you shield last night," the servant(believers in Christ Jesus) leaned the shiny shield against the wall and saluted.
The Roman officer had to struggle a bit to keep from patting the servant on the back-that just wasn't something an officer did. "Thank you. I appreciate that you are so attentive(to the Word regarding Baptism). You seem to know what I need before I even know."
The servant bowed slightly as he left the room. He was happy to serve the officer(God) the best way he could. The officer was an important man in the Roman army and he had many servants(many believers). Not all of them served happily(the un-baptized), so he was especially fond of this good servant(the one that was baptized)-in fact, he almost seemed like a son.......

The Holy Spirit told me that you are right. Baptism is not a requiremnet for salvation. But read the story again. Hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. :)
