2000000 dead and probably more. Anyone have any answers? Is this another test from God? Sweeping away baby children as they sleep? I'm looking for answers. Only God can judge after death, and the innocent and guilty will all have perfect justice even though they lived in a world of death.
I want to know what it's all about? Why would God choose to kill 100's of thousands of children in the Indian Ocean, being hit by glass, wood and metal???? Please......let me know??????????????????
The second death is the one to fear. This life is short as a vapor and is in a world cursed to death because of sin. It is to be cleansed by the wrath of God when the grace He has given to men ends with judgment.
Romans 15 And what a difference between our sin and Gods generous gift of forgiveness.
For this one man, Adam, brought death to many through his sin.
But this other man, Jesus Christ, brought forgiveness to many through Gods bountiful gift.
16 And the result of Gods gracious gift is very different from the result of that one mans sin. For Adams sin led to condemnation, but we have the free gift of being accepted by God, even though we are guilty of many sins.
17 The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over us, but all who receive Gods wonderful, gracious gift of righteousness will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later.
19
For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.
20 Against its will, everything on earth was subjected to Gods curse.
21 All creation anticipates the day when it will join Gods children in glorious freedom from death and decay.
22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
23 And even we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and suffering. We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has promised us.
Re 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.
