so you are saying that you purposefully disrupted the religious services taking place at this corrections center.

Tell me, how would you respond to these individuals insisting on attending religious services put on by your sect/cult and “praying over” everyone in the room?
I did not pray aloud. It was between me and God. I did not have my eyes shut or anything else. I just discussed the situation with God, going from person to person in the room and laying them before Him.

I could care less. At least then they are being exposed to the truth. And if you call Christianity a cult again, I will report you.

The really ironic thing is that people like you are among the first to criticise countries like Iran for being theocracies...

And if you call Christianity a cult again, I will report you.
Nobody called Christianity a cult, chill out, willya.

somwhow i doubt that.

your own words
"Yes, I fought until it was not brought in."

"He would come in every two weeks and I would make sure I was the one who would supervise his group so I could pray the entire time over every person in the room."

"I am not the only one who voiced great concern and I would report every single thing that I felt was inappropriate for the setting."

Indicate that you fear any religion that is not one you personally belong to and will work agaisnt the free exercise of said religion.

At least then they are being exposed to the truth.
no they are being exposed to your personal prejudices.

And if you call Christianity a cult again, I will report you.
Am not referring to Christianity as a cult. I would not be surprised if the this sort of misrepresentation was not also going on when you said: “I am not the only one who voiced great concern and I would report every single thing that I felt was inappropriate for the setting."

to some people CrownCaster the stuff taught in a wiccan service is the truth and to those same people the stuff taught in a christain church isnt the truth. You are not the person who dictates what is the truth and you sure as heck arnt the person who dictates what religion is right and wich is wrong.

Exposed to the truth? And you know, right, 'cause you and God hang out all the time and laugh at the non-believers for their foolishness.

And Christianity is a cult. Quoth dictionary.com:

A system or community of religious worship and ritual.

The question was asked if I would mind someone coming in to my service and doing the same thing. I said no because then they would be hearing the truth. Try reading before responding.

Ahhh…you mean the truth from those other religions coming into your religious services.

Yes how dare he think differently than you demand.

You apparently go to this juvenile detention center often. Tell me when you run into a young person who does not believe what you believe, or dares to disagree with you or does not wish to become a member of your cult/sect do you respond by ridiculing and belittling them, do you demanding that the child follow you?

Are you a Christian????? The Bible claims sole truth.
Not all Christians believe what you demand they believe.

not all Christians are threatened by the existence of other religions. Not all Christians feel they have to undermine the faith of others to bolster their own egos.

I do not care if anyone else claims truth and I am not dictating what it is but relying on God's Word to dictate what truth is.
But you work to ensure that other religions are put down. You work to ensure that the practitioners of other religions do not have access to religious leaders, clergy and the comfort of their religion.

Now, if you are a Christian?, you would know that those outside Jesus Christ are going to spend eternity in hell. I for one am not willing to stand by and just watch that so I am not seen as intolerant. Also, using swear words does not make you sound more mature so simmer down. Would your mom like the language you are using?
And once again instead of actually responding to the poster you rely on put downs and belittlement. :sigh:

I resent that. If I were 10 years older, would that make my point anymore valid? No, it would be exactly the same point, but I'll bet it makes you feel better to be bested by adults instead of mere teenagers, right?

And as for all that "shtuff" about Christians should know they are the only way... I am a Christian. I believe that everyone goes to heavan regardless of religion or life on earth.

While a number of passages in the gospels (e.g. Mark) begrudgingly acknowledge that Gentiles might enjoy the benefits of Jesus, Paul is known as "The Apostle to the Gentiles", a title that can be traced back to Gal.2:8. His missionary work amongst the non-Jews helped to raise Christianity to more than a dissidant—if not heretical—Jewish sect. -- (Source)

Okay, one more response. This stance of yours would make Jesus a liar. He said that He is the ONLY way to the Father and that there would be people who would be cast off. Do you believe Jesus or are you inventing a new one?

You could interpret that several ways (as with most things). All religions worship "God" in different ways, whether that be the "God" inside of them, the many faces of God as in a polytheistic religion, or in the sciences that God has created. They might not all call it that, but I think it's more or less the same thing. Therefore they all ARE worshipping "God" and go to heaven.

Or you could say that Jesus died so that everyone might go to heaven; they are all riding on his "ticket" to God, and thereby getting to God by him.

The arguement that God would abandon souls at all just makes no sense, I thought he didn't like damning people?

This discussion is so far off-topic it's not even funny XD
