... when teenagers call you "Ma'am." When did age thirty five make me "Ma'am-able?" Mahem maybe... but "ma'am" makes me feel REALLY old. I just turned 36 today... so that makes me even more "ma'am-able."

Age before beauty
I call my 25-year-old english teacher ma'am :D

You know you're getting old when more and more of your former classmates from way back in high school and college are deceased.

I just got the latest alumni directory from my college which goes back to the Class of 1908. Almost all the names in the early classes have an asterisk by their name, meaning they are deceased. Even the Class of 1982 has about 7 listed as deceased (of about 250).

When in I was in High School my mom and I were the first grade Brownie leaders.

My mom tells me when these ladies get married and have babies of their own.

You know when you are really getting old? When some of the people you went to high school with are grandparents!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goodness me the grandkids are grown and that is how you know you getting old. Why in the world would I let time slip by like that? Where did it go? I Forget~ :)

I had this wallpaper in my bathroom that I grew up in that would knock your socks off-- white paper with big primary-colored flowers like you'd drawn them on. And then there was the avocado-colored kitchen appliances and the brown shag carpet.

I remember the day MTV launched the rocket and "video killed the radio star."

I relished my very first pair of Jordache jeans that I had to lay on my bed to zip up. I remember they were size 1-- I'll never see that number again!

Wait a minute...
Let me get my notebook and write that down. :D

... when you are wondering or not even realizing you are getting old?

I guess I must be in complete denial but the idea that I am getting or that I've gotten old didn't enter my brain - maybe the three remaining brain cells block the entrance. I don't know.

Is there therapy for such a case?

Do I want therapy?
