Too bad that article not only attracted old hillsingers of this forum.
I think Bishop Spong might be merging with Hillsong for number control, and it shall be called... "HILLSPONG"
I thank God for being immuned to the Hillspong brainwashing ceremony, unlike my other friends. God did this my making me live a philosophical life...which translates to , that I like the yellow bell pentatonic scale.
The thing with Hillsong is, once you get a massive number of people, no one wants to critise them.
It's like the jews, I'm not anti-sematic, but heck.... if you deny the holocaust, your life is screwed over. The Holocaust did exist, but for the people rejecting it...their lives are finished.
This article is basically a way of the media getting a good face so that Hillsong will support it.
But it's a complete waste to go to Hillsong, it contradicts the Bible. How can you live a life of prosperity, when Jesus calls on his people to take up their cross and follow him? If you want to gain eternal life, you'd have to give you're whole life to God, not just a sunday or a time of worship....
If I was going to Hillsong, I'd better wake myself up and spend time on the beach and picking up people of the opposite sex....what a waste of effort!

No...no .. no, Hillsong would not be interested in Bishop Spong and his whacky ideas! That's if it's the same Spong I'm thinking of. Hillsong preach the gospel.
