I heard on the news that most Jewish believers will vote Democrat. ????

Why would that be?

And how will you vote as a MJ or MG? What is the most important issue to you this election?
That is most American Jews - because they have bought into a social "gospel" if you will - they have a great sensitivity for those who suffer - they have big tender hearts!! - but the beliebe the give-it-all-away mentality of the liberals - it is one reason they were such easy targets for the socialists in the early parts of the last century....... While themselves usually very self-reliant, they don't dare insist that others should be held responsible to that same standard..... if you add into the mix the sterotypical view of most of the non-Jewish populace that Jews have lots of $$ and are in control of it all.... the pressure to disuade that sterotype is heavy..... actually Jewish people are some of the most generous on the face of the earth - a very large portion of all philanthropic activity is supported by the Jewish community - the VAST majority of whom give generously out of their own lack to help others.....

on the other hand - among the Orthodox, large numbers are conservative and vote that way...... AND still manage to be giving and compassionate ;)

Jews are a minority in the US, and minorities usually tend to vote Democrat. Don't ask me why, but they just do. Myself, if I were old enough to vote, then I would vote for Bush. Bush is good for Israel, and holds a lot of the morals that Jews do, yes he is a Methodist, but Christians and Jews have a lot of the same moral values. Anyways that is what I think, but the truth is that most Jews do vote democrat, but they are more moderate than liberal. Look at Joe Liberman.

I like to think of myself as independant, but really im a republican. democrats tend to encourage immoral behavior such as homosexuality and abortion. Pretty soon the way they and their puppet media have things going, America will be as Sodom and Gomorroah (already is in some ways) and if you dont think we will be judged with like those ancient cities were youre wrong.

Eh, I usualy used to vote republican. Now for this election I really don't know who I am going to vote for. I really don't like both political nominees, so I would rather vote for Nadar than either one of those two. Plus I can't stand the fact that Kerry always brings up Vietnam and Bush only talks about 9/11 and Iraq, honestly people, we get the point allready!

Shalom!

Sure, because Nadar really cares about Israel and America's safety. If you really care about your country, vote for a guy who is actually going to win. LOL Both have there flaws, Kerry has more though! :D

Kerry tied to '666'?
Images of Democrat in Iowa show 'beastly' number all over TV screen

Was it a biblical warning or just imaginations running wild?

ABC News shows Kerry in a sea of sixes during Iowa campaign stop

http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=41146

During his presidential campaign in Iowa today, Democrat John Kerry was surrounded by a sea of handheld signs displaying the number six on them.

That caught the attention of WND reader Michael of Kaufman, Texas, who happened to record this evening broadcast of ABC's "World News Tonight."

"You can imagine my surprise, when they broadcast a video of John Kerry finishing a speech in Iowa to the acclaim of hundreds of people waving signs with the number six on them," he said. "The imagery of 666 appearing everywhere was too much to be ignored. I had to rewind my TIVO and shoot these photos of the TV screen."

Before I open my mouth on this, let me make it perfectly clear that at this point I truly endorse neither candidate in this. But may I point something out??

First of all, yes, Kerry has never apologized for his actions in vietnam. I can't argue any of the things said about him, for that matter, so I'm not going to try.

But Bush has never admitted wrongdoing in Iraq! There's no wmd there! We've gone through the place with a fine tooth comb! Nothing. Yet still, even after every other one of the leaders of our allies have admitted, nope sorry, none there, Bush refuses to be humbled in this. That kind of arrogance frightens me, and I can't ignore the pride goeth before the fall scripture, especially when that fall will come from the leader of the free world!

Also, let's not ignore the hundreds of sons and daughters that have been killed in this latest of imperial actions (come on, look up the definition of imperialism before you argue this one.) We are occupying a foreign nation and instituting our ways there. I admit, Saddam is a bad guy. No question on that. But frankly, I can close my eyes and throw a dart at a map of the eastern hemisphere and hit a country that hates us and wants us dead 7 out of 10 times. Every fifth time I'm going to hit on an evil dictator who is killing his people by the millions, and we KNOW they have wmd or are trying to make them. (N. Korea's being one fine example.)

I'm just not fully convinced that Bush is the republican, conservative messiah the world is painting him up to be. I can't seem to stop seeing the flaws in him that are dangerous to us all. Please don't tell me that everyone has flaws, all of us do, of course, but none of our flaws could cause people to lose jobs, go to war, and destroy the economy. None of the rest of us are trying to be president.

As for him being strong and protecting militarily, none of us believers need his protection. If Yahweh saw fit to send an inferior country against us to humble us, we wouldn't stand a chance (David and Goliath come to mind.) Yahweh is the only thing sufficient to protect us. All the presidents in the world, liberal or conservative, won't change that.

I hate to be the voice of the silent minority here, but I'd love to see an option on the ballot of "none of the above." That's who I'd like to vote for. Wipe the slate clean and start over with two new candidates.

Bush is Consevative???

I thought conservative stood for things like small government, not overextending troops abroad, not pre-empting attacks, not trying to "nation build" democratic countries with military forces, actively seeking to repeal abortion, etc?

Seems to me that a lot of religious Republicans and Democrats get blind-sided by one issue. For religious republicans it usually seems to be abortion. What gains have we made in our country in the last couple years with all 3 branches of the federal government and both chambers of congress being majority republican?

For religious Democrats it seems to be social justice. Racism, taking care of the poor, the Fatherless and the Widow.

I'm not a fan of Kerry, but Bush has not accomplished anything in the last few years that gives me reason to want to see another 4 years of it. In fact he has provided plenty of reasons for me not to want to see another 4 years of it.

Lets compare some fatality rates:

Iraq war:

1251 fatalities since March, 03

Partial birth abortion (which Kerry supports-Bush has banned):

6,000 infant murders since March, 03 (just from abortions after 20 weeks)

May G-d have mercy on our country.

Of course, you're right about the numbers, but your path of reasoning is flawed. Kerry did not send those women into those clinics, and he didn't hold the tools that killed those babies. Also, those 6,000 murders were commited while Bush was in office, not Kerry, so who's fault is that? Abortion, lawlessness in general, is going to continue no matter who's in office. If Bush is so holy, why isn't he doing more to stop abortion completely, instead of making token laws to make himself look good?
Furthermore, Bush did, willingly and knowingly, send those 1251 sons and daughters, mothers, fathers, wives, and husbands to their deaths. He launched a pre-emptive strike on a sovereign nation who stated openly it was not going to attack us and would only fight if attacked. (I don't see his daughters in this war. Hmm...coincidence? I think not. ) He did so by going around our own constitution by not asking congress to declare war (thereby placing himself above the law. )(btw, I don't understand how lawkeepers such as ourselves can overlook this so easily!)
I agree with Talmid. I think the religious community as a whole has become so blinded by this abortion issue that the forest can no longer be seen for the trees. We cannot elect a president on one issue alone! We must weigh the balance of everything.
Regardless, Yahweh will use whomever is in office to perform his will, and his will is the end of all of this, anyway. Man will no longer rule over man, but will be ruled by only Yahweh himself. We are spiraling down the tunnel to the end. Fasten your seat belts, it's gonna be a heck of a ride!
