On June 17, 2007, my Dad gave ME the BEST Father's Day gift EVER!! While I was on the phone with him (we live 1800 miles away from each other) wishing him a Happy Father's Day, we started talking about religion.
He goes to church, and helps them ALOT with projects & things that need to be fixed. However, I wasn't sure if he ever had accepted Christ as his Savior. My Dad & I have always had a tumultuous relationship, but it has gotten better over the past few years. I prayed to God for strength & wisdom, then I asked my Dad if he would please pray with me to receive Jesus Christ as his Savior, and he said YES!!!
We prayed together, and my father is now SAVED!
