Its a little bit of Arminianism left over from my charismatic days. I still like the quote, but I find it wrong theologically. Its not a verse, its just something I liked to think. I have changed it to be more theologically accurate. -

Why don't Baptist churches teach bible prophecy
It seems to me that too many people have an infatuation with eschatology. That is why I would never teach on the subject, at least as long as the text doesn't mention it. There are entire churches devoted to study of the end times and they forget about that Jesus guy. Amen. -
