I did one dose of Stadol (IV) because the thought of a needle anywhere near my spinal cord freaks me out (Epidural) plus there can be more side effects from the epidural from what I've learned.

Is there a tactful way you could explain to her you dont mind discussing the past - but she needs to remember it was pre-your marriage - and those events/decisions (I hope) made you a better person whether they were right/wrong at the time.

We got married on less than a grand - at the courthouse (FREE) - no cake/etc - my grandmother and friend were our photographers - my step daughter was my only bridesmaid and her dress was borrowed - I made my own bouquet from Publix's flower dept. So it can be done!
