For a man who keeps trying to spread world peace and fighting abortion, I don't see how he could agree. But I want to see his actual quote about the subject.

What's the deal on that, it's everywhere in the news. Does anyone know what he really said?!!

I believe the stronger you become spiritually, and the harder you work to follow Jesus, the harder Satan will be fighting over you to win you on his side. So you are doing great. Thats why he doubles his efforts during Lent, cuz each Lent we try to leave our bad habits and repent for our sins...

I agree. In my church there is Statues of Mary, Joseph and the Apostles, and for many other Saints. Everytime I got to Mass and the Priest lefts up the Host, while everyone kneeling, I see the satutes of all saints and think this is Heaven, only in reality they are kneeling with us and adoring...

I would highly recommend you start with the New Testament, finish it then go back and start the OT. Cuz the OT would be more easier to understand if you read the NT first.

I had a similar experience. Of course I know now how wrong I was but I still made my way back to the church. But by God's grace only.
