Seeing as how you are have not completed boot camp yet you should not say "us sailors"....some people may get offended by civilians referring to themselves in that light.

I graduated with my Bachelors degree in May before I went to boot camp. I am planning on putting in a OCS package after my first deployment.

I always got the impression that Romney was more of a live and let live kind of guy in regards to social policies....unfortunately he was forced to be a social conservative to get the nomination. I feel he could have been a great candidate if the republican party would have let him.

I respect the fact that he places a bigger emphasis on fiscal matters over the social ones. I think that we as a country should worry more about fiscal, domestic and foreign policy and stop worry about whether or not gay people get married.

So God foreordained some of us to not be saved? If this is the case....did God foreordain the fall of humanity?

It has been a while since I last posted on here. I am now in the Navy and we are facing our first deployment next year. Has anyone here ever served in the military and deployed or been the spouse of a deployed military member?

Do you think God foreordained all of us to be sinners? Do we have any free will in our ability to attempt to reject sin?

I just graduated in August. After that I went to school in Florida for a few weeks and now I am stationed in Norfolk.

Thank you! Tattoos are very popular in the Navy....many guys I graduated boot camp with have already gotten tattoos.

Well I graduated from boot camp and my training school....feels so good to spend some time with my wife and kids now! It has definitely been worth it. We feel renewed and excited about where life is taking us!

Unfortunately...that person does not want to hold political office! How can you blame them? Has to be one of the most difficult and corruptible positions an individual can hold.

I would say it has a lot to do with interests.....how many women truly want to be put in those positions in the first place? I personally do not care whether I vote for a man or a woman...I care more about results....both men and women are prone to doing a good job or a bad job. Both are prone...
