I'm personally interested in the eastern rite catholic churches. Also I am interested if the Eastern catholic church actually does hold exactly the same dogmas officially speaking.

Is there any official melkite document or wrting which confirms that? Things on the ground level seems a bit different, and I know sometimes groups may disagree from official teaching so would like to see what the official standards say. Thanks

they were definately melkite catholics. Went to their services over the whole easter period in Lebanon. Really enjoyed them actually. They also prayed for the pope in their liturgy so definately catholic. That's just been my experience over there

Well, I've spoken to many melkite catholics and they totally reject many latin doctrines as wrong. So my experience is ther eis real disagreement

I read it when it first came out. I was hoping for something I would find challenging, hearing the best arguments for Atheism from an Oxford Professor. I was sadly disappointed and think it is a terrible book and I think even other atheists have panned it. It's like Dawkins can't be bothered...
