    for wives, be honest

It would depend how he were pushing me. If he was expressing his desire to have intercourse fine, as long as he respected no. If he was pressuring, then I'd be upset. It's probably something best talked about while not in the midst of doing other things.

What would you think in this situation?

I think the person saying I was gullible is just too suspicious. I trust my husband and have no reason not to.

What would you think in this situation?

Of course. I asked him if he knew what they were before I contacted the charge card company. He had no idea what they were and I have no reason to doubt his reaction when I told him what they were. I dismissed it outright when told what they were over the phone knowing he'd been with me on one...

What would you think in this situation?

Thank you. I do trust my husband. I know the man he is. Someone told me I was being gullible but I didn't think so. It's good to see others see this event the same way.

What would you think in this situation?

Charge card bill arrives. It has a number of mysterious transactions on it. Call charge card company. They say they will investigate and get back to you. They call back an hour later asking if you have spoken to your husband about the charges as the calls are to sex lines. Knowing your husband...

    Totally depressed about parenting sometimes.

Nothing like support from a group of Christian parents.

    I don't think I can do it...any advice?

Yes, I've heard that said too and, for some people, having a bad relationship can make it harder for them to relate to God as a father figure. You haven't said if you find this true for yourself or not BUT the people I have come across that find the connotation of 'father' hard to relate to can...

    need help

Is this guy a bully? If so, I suggest recording incidents for a while then taking it to senior management. If this guy is the senior management you may have to consider moving on. But first, try talking to him using 'I' statements. If he won't listen to you take a witness or two with you. If...

Need a kick up the backside.

I just finished one degree which I spent several years doing. The thing is 'what next'. I think I am going to change study course for starters. I also think I am going to send my resume to different Christian ministry organisations. That's my line of work and I would like to continue in...

Need a kick up the backside.

Came over for husband's work and because children would benefit. Just got to decide what to do with ME.

Need a kick up the backside.

Or maybe not. I'm in a new country, I know no-one, I'm not sure whether to continue studying or whether to get a job (one has come up as a possibility), one of my kids is unsettled in school ... I'd be inclined to homeschool but I want to be able to do things like work and study and no I can't...

Feeling totally lost and not sure what to do. :-(

Spiritually it's really not that significant. This is more a personal decision. Both areas are in advanced social services - in both areas I have experience in applying it to ministry. I just want to make the right decision for ME because God will bless either.

    Family issue

Personally, I would go and love the person you have a problem with unconditionally and pray for them and let God work in their life. It will go over your 3 year olds head, they don't understand all this adult stuff, and we are surrounded by sin every day anyway so he's going to have to deal...

    Mentoring/Discipleship

I have worked with such situations. I wonder if, in your situation, the church isn't the best church for this person and an outside outreach that incorporates a church might be a better option for him? They may have people able (and more importantly, willing) to work patiently through whatever...
