    Missal

The Church I am at now does not have a Missalette and I want to use the Missal for daily Mass as well to follow along with the readings. Will the readings be affected by the upcoming changes?

    Missal

I am thinking about getting a Missal to read along with the readings at Mass. The one I was looking at was the St. Joseph Missal. Also with the new changes that are coming next year, will they affect the readings at Mass, since that is the main reason I want one.

Mary - Queen Of Heaven (2)

Would you mind showing me in the Bible where it says Mary isn't in Heaven and that those in Heaven cannot hear prayers?

    Praying TO Saints

It is a Protestant error to say that Catholics "declare" saints. The Church only recognizes Saints.

What did Mary ever do to you?

So a statue is idolatry but an icon isnt?

    Understanding praying to saints

"Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church." Colossians 1:24

Was Mary the greatest woman that ever lived?

The the Messiah was to be born of a Virgin and be resurrected from the dead.

Was Mary the greatest woman that ever lived?

They checked the OT to see if what was said concerning Jesus was true, because they recognized the authority of the oral tradition given to St. Paul.

Was Mary the greatest woman that ever lived?

I think you are missing the point. Whether the Messiah was going to be born of a virgin and be resurrected from the dead isnt the issue. It is whether Jesus fulfilled those things, and the only thing to go on was the oral tradition that St. Paul said.

    The word "until"

Now when Abram heard that his brother [Lot} was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. Genesis 14:14 Lot here is referred to as brother yet we know is Abraham's nephew.

    Oral tradition in the NT?

"The scribes and Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat; so practice and observe whatever they tell you, but not what they do; for they preach, but do not practice" (Matt. 23:2-3) Is this teaching found in the OT? If not, how can this be the case if Scripture has the final authority? Or...

    Sola Scriptura vs. Catholic Tradition

Maybe it signifies an end of the OT priesthood? You are still putting your tradition down as the interpretation of Scripture.

    Sola Scriptura vs. Catholic Tradition

Actually I did, when I see the OP say things such as "The Bible does not tell us to turn to tradition"
