Me too :D But I do most of my writing on my laptop (just got a new one :clap: after slaving away all summer in a kitchen :P. It is extremely awesome :cool:) because of the editing features and stuff.

Only with the first draft, but still! After three months of writers block (during which I cut almost all my hair off, lost 10 lbs. and took my ACT), I pulled an allnighter last night and finished my first draft for my novel!!!!!! Its really, really, really, bad, and I don't think that I'll ever...

lol. I had to write a cliched story for my English class, and that was what my villain said ^_^ Anyway, yes, I do want to publish my novel, and I think I've got a pretty good chance. I'm not finished with it, since I'm writing it kind of like a research paper. I gather info here, info there...

I've been writing a lot from first person lately, even though I've critisized it in the past. My stories generally take place within the past 100 years, late B.C./early A.D. or early Dark Ages. As to what they are, fantasy, SciFi, realistic, I've no clue. They kind of walk in a gray area.

Try doing some kind of Yoga or Tai Chi thing. My friends convinced me to go to a class with them, since the first was free of charge. The guy leading the class was super wierd, but it was relaxing. I didn't go back :P but I do some of the deep breathing and poses when I can't write, and it helps.

Movies and books have both influenced my writing, and still do :) There was a time when I couldn't write half a page without it sounding like Tolkien or Lewis or Austen, which made me really depressed for awhile, because it was like I was an uncreative person. But music is really what inspires...

While writing, do you ever come across a feeling that you can't seem to portray through words? If so, what do you do about it?

I don't think I've ever shown my work to a friend, and only one story to an adult, which turned into a total mockery of my work and why on earth was I writing something so stupid? So, to answer the question, I don't rate my friends as in who can read my drafts, but I do rate them as character...
