Michael Curry has been elected the next Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church

Not a dig at poster Sean611, but I absolutely detest Anglican Ink, which has a habitual tendency to stretch truths and outright lie, and I know this for a fact, having attended all the synods in SC since +Lawrence's schism either as an alternate or merely as a simple participant for the...

Women in Authority -- Church of England statement?

A lot less these days, thankfully, and decreasing by the second :) No problem. I did read your comment of the same earlier. My replies are only meant to address the ideas raised. :)

Christianity 101 Are All Bibles Equal (Revised)

Read my post again...this is a Straw Man.

Christianity 101 Are All Bibles Equal (Revised)

They are null and void to the fact that the KJV is Anglican and no KJV-O advocate interprets it the way its translators did or the church still does. That is why it is not a true belief.

Women in Authority -- Church of England statement?

It is long-proven that it is Junia; Junias was never a name back in the day. Translations of the Holy Scriptures under Vatican Catholic auspices now offer a correct translation. However, she wasn't the only one: Priscilla is another. The arguments against women clergy has very little to offer...

Women in Authority -- Church of England statement?

Post 6 again. That question is answered there as well. Furthermore, St. Paul recognizes women apostles, which was the equivalent of bishops at the time.

Christianity 101 Are All Bibles Equal (Revised)

Well let's all be fair here. The fact that the KJV is based on now-proven-to-be-inferior sources has nothing to do with its translation of those texts. And really, we're talking about inferiority due to accidental scribal insertions of what we would call today "study notes" and "footnotes"...

Christianity 101 Are All Bibles Equal (Revised)

KJV-Oism has long been debunked as without merit. It is a PRATT idea.

Women in Authority -- Church of England statement?

Much of what my post wrote preempted his point, so it is null and void.

Women in Authority -- Church of England statement?

It is in favor of women's ordination, although it has absolutely no theological application to that affect whatsoever. I'd like to ask again: what is thought of my theological justification on your end?

Women in Authority -- Church of England statement?

What is thought of the theological justification found in my reply since there was one offered?

Women in Authority -- Church of England statement?

Whereas I completely agree that all decisions must have a theological justification, sometimes, though it is without question far less appealing, a decision like this may be based on a bad premise but the conclusion may still be true. After all, a false premise may still have a truth conclusion...

Women in Authority -- Church of England statement?

Jesus may have been a man, but it was more important that He was human...part of Creation, than being male. The male character has value too, but not in the way people think. Because of Genesis 1, we know that both men and women are in the likeness of God equally. Furthermore, both men and...

    Who are the twelve tribes?

There is only one tribe that matters: the Holy Church, and all the rightly baptized are members of her.
