umm... people sin. and they did so in that time very greatly. that does not prove that these things that happened after Jeptha's lifetime that HE SINNED.

it is not found in Scripture that Jephtha (can we please use his real name? i too find it disrespectful to joke about scripture in such a crass manner) acted in a sinful way. it says he was a judge who led God's people. it gives an example of a foolish vow. but nowhere does it say he sinned...

ok. those verses are about not having sex outside of marriage. not sharing what is to belong to your spouse alone with others. period!! when we dress in a way that both shares part of that (body parts that should only be seen by a spouse) with whoever may have a lingering eye, and by so doing...
