but if I'm eating chocolate decadance ice cream and don't know you're a closet glutton am I at fault... because it's not clear hypothetically one could say I could hypothesize that someone in public that I'd know could have an issue with food so I should be cautious... just like they say with...

    Brother's keeper

I mean is it our responsibilty to look after our "brothers" and be responsible for their short comings.... for instance... the idea that the things we do can make them stumble... is it our fault and should we have to be eternally vigilant, and if we do it in ignorance or innocence, are we still...

    Brother's keeper

Are we our brother's keeper? The way some of us talk we are... Just wondering if that's biblical truth or not and what the arguments for and against are...

Why is the God of the OT and the God of the NT so different?

then the tree didn't cause sin? (i.e. sin happened before eating) and the curse came from the blood spilled... had he just been envious and hateful do you think that would have been punished the same? wouldn't we call that sin today?

Why is the God of the OT and the God of the NT so different?

Why is the God of the OT and the God of the NT so different?

the only reason there was a need for law is because we refused to exist without it... but that's beside the point. anyway, believe what you like.

Why is the God of the OT and the God of the NT so different?

my dad is military, my grandfather is military and so is practically everyone else in my family (but me - asthma - lol). I understand strategy. Human beings haven't changed that much. we don't have a group strategy. There is no ultimate victory that God has to win.... the analogy isn't a great one.

to change methods of operation would imply that one did not plan effectively....
