Alpha would suck. Hopefully you don't have to do it. Most RCIA starts with inquiry where you ask questions and learn about the Catholic Church and then when you feel ready you can ask to join the Catechumenate. I assume a fella with your knowledge of the faith could get into the Catechumenate...

no. i don't find it beneficial. although i think my wife wants to go so offered to take her but she seems reluctant, which works for me, but I like everyone to get what they need spiritually, so wouldn't have a problem if we attended more often.
