The 1st & 3rd points I find interesting. Never really thought of it that way. When I was younger, I never had a testimony, and looking back, I guess I didn't really want one either. The 5th point, as I understand it, means if you don't keep the commandments, then you may lose your testimony...

Now that actually makes sense to me. I really don't know the scriptures. I guess I just know enough to get by. Maybe it's about time I did learn. :)

What do you mean by first adam - second adam. I've seen you mention it before. I'm quite curious at that.

The last 2 quotes I understand to mean that we must accept the teachings of Joseph Smith. However the first three sounds to me like Joseph will judge us. When I was about 6 I was told that we would be judged by Jesus and by Joseph. I didn't believe it then, and I still don't believe that. Only...

I know here in my ward, they won't call you into the Bishop's office if you don't sustain someone, only if you oppose. Which I have never done. Well not yet anyway. ;)

I must admit, that is the first time that I've heard that. Mind you, I don't really go to conference so that could be why. ;) It is interesting though. I don't raise my arm anymore unless I really believe what I'm sustaining. It can take me a while, but I don't ever want to agree to something...

You know, many years ago, I did actually pray to Heavenly Mother, cos I was curious. I have often wondered about this. But not so much in the past few years as life grabs hold and doesn't let go. ;)

Wow. After reading that, I've just realised that this is the first time that I truly appreciate what Christ did for me.

I kinda get why they left, and yet not really. I've never served a mission, but does it always have to be about trying to convert someone? Why not just have a friendly discussion about religion. With neither side trying to convince the other that what they believe is wrong.
