    29 & Never Dated

Maybe they're struggling just as much with it and they thought the same as you, so no one brought it up. Or maybe they're sick of talking about dating. I sometimes hear singles complaining that they go on tons of awful dates with people they met on the internet, so they get sick of modern dating...

    What's on your mind?

That was my original intention, tbh. But I kinda got hooked on the community here and reading the Controversial Theology forum. Can't stay away. lol

    What's on your mind?

I loooooove this show! Watched all the episodes when I had Netflix. Some of the chefs have bizarre ideas, but a lot of them are fantastic and their food looks so delish.

    What's on your mind?

LOL No, I was only gone a week and a day. You sure it's me you're thinking of, and not Sampa? She's fasting CF/social media for Lent, I believe. She really has been gone for a month!

    What's on your mind?

Hehe, thanks! I took a bit of a break from CF because I was getting slightly obsessive about checking threads and reading replies.

    What's on your mind?

Permanent meaning it would stay all year round and not stop in November to allow sunrise to happen at a non-insane hour during the winter. A 9am sunrise is simply insane. There's no other word for it. It was my first language as a child. I learned German before I ever learned English. And...

What are you watching right now?

I'm watching my dog sleep. It's so cute how her toes twitch when she dreams.

    What's on your mind?

I'm pretty bored this evening and daylight savings is messing with me. Why can't politicians accept all the evidence for why daylight saving time is a horrible, horrible idea? There's talk in Ontario of making it permanent. That would mean kids would be walking to school in the dark at 8am in...

    What's on your mind?

*raises hand* I also speak German. Though not very fluently at the moment. I'm out of practice.

    Renouncing your faith under torture

What does the Pope have to do with anything? Peter did know that Jesus was going to suffer and die. He was told beforehand many times. He was also told that believers would suffer persecution. He even claimed he would follow Jesus to prison and death, as did all of the other disciples. Matthew...

    Singles Ministry

Is this really true? I very rarely get approached or noticed by guys out in public. Maybe I'm just oblivious, though. Or maybe Canadians don't do this sort of thing very often. Women on the internet constantly complain about being catcalled, but I've only ever been catcalled when I was abroad or...

    Singles Ministry

This is why formal introductions used to be a thing. I wish it still were. Makes it even harder to meet people when you can't easily just walk up to them and start talking without seeming creepy. I think there are single men at the church I just started attending, but I don't know anyone there...

    Renouncing your faith under torture

Careful. You sound a lot like Peter before he denied Christ when you say that, and there wasn't even torture involved. Nor was he in any danger, and he denied Christ three times in a row. Jesus still forgave him and even made him the foremost apostle.

    Good Christian Fantasy/Sci-Fi

I just thought of some others. Frank Peretti writes supernatural fantasy and thrillers. And Katherine Paterson, though she writes mainly for children.

    Good Christian Fantasy/Sci-Fi

Ted Dekker? He's written some good fantasy, like the Circle Series. Just a warning that it gets quite dark. Blink is sort of a mild sci-fi/thriller, also written by him and quite a good book. And then there's the obvious Tolkien recommendation as well, though I'm sure you know of his works already.
