Thanks GraceSeeker for the clarification. I've found some very old Methodist hymnals with just the words. My curiosity is now satisfied. :) Sadly, most of what I found weren't stored well and therefore, likely not salvageable. :sigh:

How sad! I'm not sure if people felt that I was a threat...perhaps that would explain some things. However, I think since I grew up in the town where I went to church, people had known me for way too long. It's hard to overcome people's memories of you when you were a little girl, a teenager...
