Okay, but my response would be that Saul had a strong enough opinion of those stories that he arose to dedicate his life to KILLING anyone who believed them. I would hope that he investigated the stories before doing something that drastic. Thanks anyway.

Yes, He did -- on the road to Damascus. It was only AFTERWARDS he found all the other evidence to be convincing. I'm wondering why it wasn't good enough for him BEFORE.
