This is a question I have been asking around alot lately on different forums but I would like to know if anyone here as any info. I thought that the letter "T" when it was made into the lowercase form of "t" looks like a Cross and might of been made to look like a Cross on purpose and...

Mental Issue; Don't know what if I am doing is a sin?

I can say the same to a certain extent. But at the moment it's really hard. Ok well in the context of the passage, I think that the people he was addressing were getting drunk on the wine and using it or the bread to fill their stomachs. Is that not what I would be doing? I thought that bread...

Mental Issue; Don't know what if I am doing is a sin?

I wish it was just a simple blessing of thanks. It was a blessing of instituting it as the Body and Blood of Christ like in the Lord's Supper. I keep doing it, it's hard to explain why. My mind works in a way that cannot be explained. Unfortunately I am not sure and I can't do anything until I...

Mental Issue; Don't know what if I am doing is a sin?

I've got ADD/OCD and probably other issues that I don't know about. I can still function normally it's just that my thought patterns & thought speed is out of whack and I am really paranoid and obsessive when it comes to religious issues, it's something I have been fighting for a long time...

Is there a proper way to give thanks or blessing?

Thanks for your answers! Sincerity of Heart is definitely a true answer. Although not what I was looking for, the Psalm 150 verse is the sort of verse I like. I went to the Messianic Jew section of this forum and asked them about The Passover and The Festival of Unleavened Bread to see how they...

Question about Festival Of Unleavened Bread and Passover

Hello :) I would just like to know what the process involved in these 2 festivals are. Specifically I would like to know the role of bread and wine and how/if they are consecrated or blessed. I don't know a huge amount about these festivals. Thanks for reading

Is there a proper way to give thanks or blessing?

Is there a recommended or specific way mentioned in the Bible of giving thanks, blessing/consecrating for the bread and wine in communion? Thank you so much.

    Looking for verses

I'm looking for verses which describe how the bread and wine used in communion is set apart as holy from being just bread and wine.

    Looking for verses

I'm in a bit of a hurry, I asked it in the end of one my other threads but no hits. I'm looking for verses which set apart Communion involving partaking in the bread and wine and just casually eating it. I want to know what process makes it different. For example in 1 Cor 10:16 Here we find...

do we take communion each time we eat bread or wine?

The responses to the question have been thorough and interesting, some kind of off the track but still interesting. This verse which was mentioned previously sticks out to me: “For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself”...

do we take communion each time we eat bread or wine?

Absolutely, I don't deny that I'm asking about the reverse of that. My query was should we remember Jesus everytime we drink wine. I get that idea because of where it says in the passage I quoted "As often as you drink it"

do we take communion each time we eat bread or wine?

Thaks for your replies  My thought was that possibly when drinking wine it should always be used in remembrance and that not drinking it in remembrance was a mis-use for the reasons that I highlighted in bold when I quoted the passage.
