Second Adam, Could it be because Adam was the first 'sinless' man that Jesus is the second 'sinless man'? Sin= disobedience which inturn causes seperation from God? I wonder why Adam attempted to hide from the omnipresent one? Wouldn't he have known that God is everywhere?
