What? Who said that? The idea is that the body is corrupt because of sin (It feels pain, it gets sick, it stinks, and it dies) but God will change it at the resurrection into an immortal body - hence redemption of our body. Romans 8:23 is there. Ephesians 1 and Colossians 1 are about redemption...
