    Opportunity to share?

Thanks singapito, my family are all Church of England but never got me christened so I grew up with minimal religious knowledge as none of them goes to church or believes. Leaves me to start questioning.

    Opportunity to share?

Hey. Can any previous agnostics share a bit of their experience in finding God and becoming Christian? I'm new and was just wondering about those who found faith later in life. Look forward to reading your replies and hopefully one day I'll have a story to share too.

I'm going to go to church this week, but I'm not a Christian.

Hey, I Find myself almost in exactly the same boat. Does free will truly exist?

I don't think I've missed the point, I've just given my opinion, I don't think free will exists based on what I said earlier, if we take free will as doing what you want or doing what you're told.

    Does free will truly exist?

But is the choice to do as you're told free will? Studies into obedience have shown that there are many processes, such as the agentic state where people assign all responsibility for their actions onto another, i'd argue they didn't do that on purpose.

    Does free will truly exist?

Ok, so a total newbie wading in here who is going to 100% honest and say that she didn't read every post in this thread due to tiredness from Uni work, I'd have to argue that free will doesn't exist for three reasons: 1. We are nearly all brought up to respect authority and doing as we are told...
