I'm a Christian and I have been in the entrepreneurship development for more than three years, holding a position as Founder and Chief Executive Officer for Entrepreneurs Support Foundation and Global Education Support Limited. Entrepreneurs Support Foundation (ESF) and Global Education Support Limited works to advance and promote entrepreneurship development in Ghana and provides a range of resources, services and support for our members within a comprehensive framework for cost-effective use in Ghana.
- Marital Status:
I first started by providing office space for entrepreneurs (startups), computer training, adult education and hair cut services for schools around Madina and for the past 3 years I have been the manager of a highly acclaimed in entrepreneurship development. I also have the desire of extending the services of my organization to other countries in the near future. Since those early days of providing office spaces for entrepreneurs, I have wanted to provide education and housing financial support, business startup and expansion capital for entrepreneurs both men and women through membership based. Seeing this vision begin to come to fruition has been exciting. In March 2017, I and my wife Mrs. Elizabeth Dede Osabutey started organizing our members for entrepreneurship training and we have been providing business advisory services to our cherished members as well. In May 2017, we provided Three thousand and fifty dollars ($3,050.00) to sixteen (16) members of our organization through Church Members Loan System approach and the repayment has been exciting.
I believe our time is now, as we have the necessary experience, industry relationships and connections to make this happen. With help from those industry connections, we’ve created a sound business plan that borrows from individuals and established ventures to help support SME’s, start-ups and parents to pay their children school fees in the form of a loan.
We have been educating church members from various churches and associations in Accra and Koforidua through entrepreneurship development and crowdfunding and it has been amazing to people joining our organization. The world is full of different cultures, but one thing we all share is supporting each other. People can only start and expand their own businesses and become successful if they get help from individuals and organizations. We’ve taken this ethos to heart, and it is the driving force behind our concept for entrepreneurship development.
We plan on attracting members from Ghana and other countries as well. We envision our membership growth to 1000 at the end of 2017. Our initiatives will be very competitive in order to attract more members, and also attract more investors and donors to support our initiatives. ESF intends to share its initiatives with those looking to improve their lives and are ready and willing to do what it takes to achieve their dreams! Capitalizing on the power of crowdfunding, ESF management team has put together a complete strategy to get our members the right investors and donors to support their education, housing, and business. We foresee our organization becoming the standard by which others measure their success.
