What are your thoughts on whether or not someone should wait on having sex or go ahead and have sex with their spouse if they are married by a minister but haven't gotten a marriage license from the government to be legally married?

I'm thinking of buying because we are doing the big celebration outside of the church so everyone can be there and then we can do a little church thing to make it legit. It would be nice to have the crowns when everyone is there. Any advice?

Do they need to be a special kind of crown?

I assumed those are straight out, if it is a beach wedding or something like that, so if someone has a chapel wedding (instead of church so that certain family can be there) and wants to make it official is what I was thinking.
