Thanks, although I would have to disagree with the thought that the things in Revelations have already been fulfilled. I, for one, do not believe in spiritualizing everything (even with that it's hard to explain everything away), and there are clearly things that have not yet been fulfilled...

Whatever the mark of the beast may be exactly, I don't think there will be a way to circumvent it like that. It says that he will cause all people to receive it, and those who won't will die, at least many of them. You will have to choose either for him or for God.

Our community, if you could call it that, is somewhat large, but widespread. :) Because of our beliefs faith-wise (just in general), we naturally have less people to choose from, but it is my hope, belief, and prayer that the right man will come along in God's good timing. Hopefully sooner...

I mean dating vs. betrothal, or maybe it could be considered a rather strict form of courting. I don't really call it courting, as to me that implies seeking to win the other person's heart, something that I think should be for the most part saved until one is inside a committed relationship...

I wonder if I'm the only one on here who doesn't date? :) (As a matter of principle, that is).
