Rufous Sided Towhee - another delightful surprise and first-time sighting for us this spring!

Rose Breasted Grosbeak - another shot of this cutie pie. We had a pair of them visit - not a mated pair but two males this spring.

Rose Breasted Grosbeak - one of our most interesting visitors to date. First time we've ever seen one live.

Pileated Woodpecker - these guys bes absolutely enormous birds! We have them in our backyard along with a couple other species of woodpecker.

Crocuses in springtime - they come up by the 2nd week of March, the first sign of spring here.

Snoozy Squirrel - caught him having a lie-down! Silly thing.
