Even in humans when you are nurtured/ castrated, what have you, males (not sure about with female mammals) it is normal to gain a lot of weight, be less active and less aggressive and the memtabalism to slow down. It is the lack of testosterone. Obviously being too fat isn't good for you, but it is normal. He might not have even gained weight or much. Sometimes the body fat just redestrbutes itself, especially to the belly. Maybe try to get him to do more exercise and possibly to give him lower calorie food. I have the same problem with all my fury babies being on the chunky side. I'm not very active inside, so neither are they and it is hard for me to say no when they want a snack. Ouch, I hope they feel better! Yep, these two are brother and sister. Besides the parents, they're all about 8 months, give or take, so they're at a perfect age of still running around, but sleeping A LOT. For Daryl, I figured it was the low testosterone, but he definitely needs a diet change as he's about doubled in total weight :/ Thank you! I'll try to get them all together, and if not I'll catch them while they're napping and just collage them together in one photo lol. How many do you have?
