This is so Arizona! I like it. Beautiful picture. Central Arizona does have green, water, and even forrest. Sedona, Arizona is famous for its beautiful, red rock formations. There is a lot of beauty in Arizona. Thanks for sharing some of it.

I was gonna say that (or parts of northern mexico)! I almost got lost in an area like that when I was about 9.

Do you live around there or was it just a trip? Hope you enjoyed yourself and stayed safe!

@Motherofkittens yes we live in the area and this trail is a staple in our hiking. Sorry you almost got lost the most have been horrible at the age of 9.

Lucky you! It really is wondrous. I lived in Tucson for a few years and was able to visit a lot of AZ.

Actually, I didn't even know I was lost, which is kinda good. I have ADHD and aspergers so I was just wandering around thinking "I'll run into my dad and siblings soon...la la..." it had been a few hours and then right when I was about to turn down a path (to maybe be lost forever? Pretty scary to think about now) my dad was able to track me down and was like "you were lost!!!" I was like "really?!"

Arizona seems like a great state!

It really is there is so much history here along with great natural places to visit as my wife and I start to explore more I will post them.
