"Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion" Amos 5:8.
When we seek Him we focus on Him. When we don't seek Him, our focus is elsewhere. Look at the picture below. Like looking through a microscope at a blue field with various sizes of black bordering ovals or circles of white. Notice their is one exception. That is a small red sphere. To seek that red sphere one must move their focus away from all the other objects in the blue field, the field itself, and even spaces between the objects like the green areas. Though we have wide peripheral vision that allows us to still be aware of the entire blue field and its contents, our focus can only be pinpointed on one small place at a time, like on the red sphere or some other small point. Usually we keep moving our eyes around so that the focus keeps moving around the field to better see all that it contains. Now imagine that the red sphere symbolizes God. Remember Amos 5:8 and "Seek God." For a little time take your focus off of all those other things in the field, which represent a lot of things we focus on in life, and just hold your focus on God for a time.
