I'm confused, too, by the comment.

But the picture is great.

Sign of spring, maybe, but up here this evening we had another dumping of snow.

If there are flowers about like the one in your photo, though, I guess they frost and snow would likely kill them; so winter's definitely not over yet, at least, up here...

Winter is pretty much over here, we have little cold snaps but for the most part it seems to be finishing up.
