I have six chickens and only the two Rhode Island Reds keep crossing the road! It is The One Commandment I have given them, and I have to forgive them because they faithfully deliver an extra large brown egg every day.
Even the "alpha hen" Lucy, knows better than to cross the road. My rooster, Fatfeet won't do it.
Something about chickens and roads, I guess.
