In contrast with that, Trump made a bold more, two-fold, allowing Israel to kill Iranian scientists and then having the U.S. bomb Iranian nuclear facilities. This gained the respect of the countries involved in the Middle East and in the rest of the world. Had a progressive been elected instead and tried to broker a deal that person probably would have gone through the United Nations. In fact Trump realized the United Nations was actually part of the problem.
