Russiagate led to some convictions that had nothing to do with Russiagate itself. Which is pretty much the definition of a witch hunt.
You don't understand. Russiagate was a joke. A colossal production that turned out to be a nothingburger. Epsteingate will likely amount to nothing more than theater as well.
Irrelevant. Russiagate was not about simply having contacts with Russians. The fact they lied about it was stupid. And they deserved whatever they got. But there was never anything shown to have occurred for the reasons the investigation began in the first place. In other words. Russia gate was a hoax.
Russiagate was not a joke. The Trump admin was working directly and indirectly with Russians for the benefit of their campaign.
The US is appraised by one of it's fellow Five Eye nations that a Trump official is making known his connections with Russians, Russia's willingness to help the campaign, and the officials willingness to be receptive to that help. Then he lies to the FBI about. So either the FBI ignores it all, or it investigates the matter. To say that is not a premise of investigation is just false. The IG report of the investigation came to the same conclusion.
And? Russiagate was supposed to result in the downfall of the Trump administration according to all the commentary from the left. Compared to what they were predicting and hoping for, the whole thing ended up as a nothingburger joke. It gave the right a hardy laugh at its anticlimactic end. That will likely be the same result with Epsteingate.
All the perps who were convicted or pleaded guilty to felonies didn't think so. Granted, Trump pardoned most of them, for obvious reasons. But that doesn't mean they aren't criminals or that the collusion didn't happen. Reality matters.
A lot of people were never exposed to the findings of those investigations.
Yeah sure, that's what people on the left were rooting for and hoping for. People most of the public never heard of before getting busted for perjury and such.

That was NEVER proven that he cooperated or colluded with Russia to interfere with the election. That was a hoax. The only campaign that actually did it was Clinton.
One would think being convicted of felons would be the downfall of the Trump admin. The willingness to investigate by congress, or indict by a DOJ does not dismiss the reality that Russia was in fact trying to help Trump win, and Trump et al were willing participants of that help, and their campaign manager was in fact working with Russians. That aint a nothing burger.
According to what we know now they had nothing on Trump. However Obama wanted to pursue it anyway. He and Clinton were the ones who really tried to interfere with the election. Clinton with her fake dossier with Russian ties and Obama's push to investigate Trump to.make it look like he was interfering with Russia.
It ended with convictions over other things. Not a single person was indicted over colluding with Russia to try and interfere with the election.
Yes it does. And Russiagate did not show that Trump colluded or cooperated with Russia. That's the reality. The real reality is that Clinton did and now we discovered the Obama administration interfered as well by pushing the narrative even though they didn't have anything.
