I think it's interesting how folks confuse "reporting what's happenning" with "hoping for destruction".

Kinda suggests that we may be looking at circumstances while the other group is busy just trying to judge us for looking at the circumstances.

Like....do you not think farmers are stressed about this? Are their spouses not watching their loved ones become worried?

We don't want the farmer's to feel that way but we are willing to acknowledge it happens.
It seems Trump supporters just think these cuts aren't actually going to affect anyone.

Probably because they aren't affected. I assume. I've heard a few Trump supporters gloat that "They are not affected by this because they aren't a part of the Parasite class".... Comments like that clearly belie some signficant lack of empathy.

"Donald Trump says Americans could feel 'pain'...." Yes, just "do" without thinking ramifications will lead to disastrous results. However disastrous results whether anticipated or unanticipated are still disastrous.
I'm curious when the billlionaire class may feel pain? Like...ANY kind of pain.

Some people definitely have their fingers crossed.

The basis of my observation is not limited to the handful of people on this small obscure forum.
This is true. I have pointed out countless times how it seems as though there are many people who hate Trump more than they love the country in that they would rather see the country and our democracy burn to the ground than to give Trump a win, no matter how small. I also believe Trump knows this and is taking advantage of it. I remember watching a segment on MSNBC in which the conservative speaker pointed out that in any 80/20 issue, Trump will choose the 80 side knowing that the opposition will fight to defend the 20 side. This makes the opposition look more disconnected and less attractive to the American voters.

It's not reporting what's happening. It's stating what's supposedly going to happen as if it already has.

Yeah, because the vast majority of the American people are fine with gender ideology, paying for trans opras in Ireland, and giving Mexican criminals free housing. If you truly think this is "crazy town wrong" look forward to 8 years of JD Vance because the Democratic Party is dead.

You just listed TWI decisions he's made two
Two positions he's took that support your point.

You think the president only deals with trans issues and illegals? Come on man. Pull your head out.

Whether he advocates for injecting bleach or some other ridiculous health option...that was not the 80

Sharpiegate was not the 80

Let's take over greenland/panama/canada.

These are not decisions that were the 80.

The person who made that comment is an idiot but one new strategy I hear coming from Republicans top ro bottom (and a lot of people who claim to be centrist) is that the "vast majority of Americans" love Trump. They keep finding subtle ways to tey to convey that idea.

But its another lie they are willing to just swallow completely whole. I dont know if people who repeat that nonsense KNOW they are lying or if they confuse the depth of the idolatry around trump with the idea that everyone else must love him that much too.

This is exactly why this is a waste of my time explaining. And no, I am not going to explain it further.

I think in just two years people will be fatigued of this un-American chaotic deconstructive administration and a third alternative will surface.

Of course not, because the entirety of my point is completely correct even if I did use an example that I knew was going to give you all a trap door escape to ignore it.

It's ironic seeing certain folks hoping so desperately that things will go horribly wrong for farmers and the working class.

Not at all. Im sure there is a bit of that, but most are hoping people, farmers especially, educate themselves so as not to vote against their own interests, and therefore ours, in the process. I don't want the farms in this country ran by a handful of big businesses. We are getting food recalls on an almost daily basis. Diversity in farms and processing is a security feature imo. Trump severely damaged farmers in his first term, and now they are in danger of being finished off.

You may not like what this third option could be.
