Not really. Every president from George Washington on up, has lied at one time or another. The job doesn't require a dictate of total and complete honesty at all times.

If it did, the job would be unfillable.

But, if truth telling is an a important criteria for you in choosing a candidate, then comparing the candidates would seem to be significant.

If truthfulness is important to you, and you were the one to bring it up, then comparing truths to lies, as well as comparing the various candidates based on that criteria would be germane.
