Why do they have to have pride events then? If they just wanted to be treated fairly and equally, they wouldn’t make a big song and dance about it. They would be protesting instead. They’re having big parades instead with men prancing around dressed in ladies lingerie, it’s so weird.

I don’t support or not support promiscuity. I support people owning their sex lives and acting in a way that involves consent. If that means you die celibate, awesome. If that means you die having had 100 partners, awesome. It is not my job or particularly my interest to monitor or involve myself in other people’s sex lives. The only relevance that the number of partners one has had has for me is influencing if I would have sex with them, the rest is their business.

Pride events are to show that they exist and they’re proud of who they are. And, prepare to be shocked, but a large number of them who attend events for pride also attend protest events. They don’t make them choose one event of the other.
