Close but no cigar.
Again the context was MSM propaganda. Context is key.
You said:
I haven't seen anyone but Liberals try to pass off any riot as a mostly peaceful protest.
Feeble attempts to defend such propaganda is laughable.
I posted someone, not a liberal, who tried to pass off January 6 as peaceful by saying:
Most staged their protest in a peaceful manner and then went home. Some got out of control and were arrested on the spot.
Sorry if that doesn't agree with the context you wanted, but it was an example of something you said you hadn't seen. Now you have.
Do with it what you will.
For my part, as a liberal, I will agree that some protests that start out peacefully can sometimes get out of hand, and become violent, even to the point of a full scale riot. This happens on both sides, so you can't blame the Democratic Party or the Republican Party for any of it. Blame the people who rioted for rioting, not the people who were peaceful and didn't riot.
Please note that at no time have I ever called for everyone who was present at Trump's speech on the ellipse to be charged with insurrection. I don't think anyone else has, either.
And further, speaking as someone who has worked as a journalist before (my wife still does, in fact), the media isn't a single entity, or do reporters have a hive mind. There are many media outlets, tv, print or internet, that are intentionally slanted to one point of view or the other, just as there are others who aren't. Same for individual reporters at any of these outlets. There is no organized attempt to create propaganda across the entirety of the media, though there are certain specific outlets that do indulge in the practice on their own. Fox News comes to mind, and they paid a hefty settlement because of it.
Acting as if the media is one thing only shows me you don't understand how it works.
-- A2SG, some people only know the media through old reruns of Lou Grant...great show, no question (I have the whole series on DVD), but, y'know.....
