I love this, I really do. God is absolutely amazing.

This is a mini leading His people out of Egypt moment to me. It's a sign that no matter what this is in God's Hands and it's all going to be just fine. Even if the wait is long God does and will meet out His Justice on the evildoers.

All we have to do is plod along walking with Christ on the path He set before us and all will be well.

This is good. May God forever be praised ❤️
God doesn't celebrate the death of the wicked, rather they come to repentance.

I pray, somehow, he came to Christ in his final hours.

Blessings

While God does not delight in the death of the wicked, Proverbs 11:10 observes that “the whole city celebrates when the godly succeed; they shout for joy when the wicked die” (NLT). Just as every individual is responsible for his choice to live righteously or wickedly, whole societies reap the benefits and damages of these moral choices. When godliness and morality prevail in this world and evil is defeated, there is reason to rejoice because God’s will is accomplished on the earth (Romans 13:1–7). We can delight in justice being done and evil being conquered, but the everlasting condemnation of a soul should never be celebrated.

You’re right. If he’s in hell he did it to himself. No celebration or sympathy from me.

I really hope this was a legitimate accident because if it's what I'm afraid it is, it can easily start WWIII.

Quite possibly a legit accident. I had some experience flying helicopters in a simulator. Helicopters are much harder to fly than planes and very unstable. It requires making small corrections all the time to keep the thing from crashing.

For that it requires ADEQUATE outside visual reference to effectively control a helicopter, let alone, fly safely. For an average helicopter pilot, it can be daunting or even deadly should visibility suddenly turn zero. Not as dangerous if you're flying a plane.

Some helicopters meant to fly in all-weather conditions, including zero visibility have additional equipment and features to allow flying in zero visibility safely such as radar, additional instrumentation, autopilot and stability augmentation. Some 212 are all-weather equipped. They maybe easier to fly in good weather but requires far greater skill and experience to fly in zero visibility. This requires a pilot with plenty of experience flying in zero or poor visibility like offshore or mountain flying at night.

2 bladed rotor helicopters like the 212 are even more dangerous. If not equipped for all-weather flying, just flying one of these things into a cloud can cause the helicopter to self-destruct. I'm not kidding! If I ever get an opportunity to learn to fly on a real helicopter, I'd avoid 2 bladed ones if it is a choice. Else I'd be praying all the time to live another day!

I pray for the souls of those lost. Maybe there was a miracle for some to know the Lord Jesus Christ before death & be saved. It seems that on this earth, this president was a fiend. There are actually people in Iran celebrating his death.

That does not matter. I was once a Satanist, sorcerer, practitioner of magic arts, worked with someone who used chaos magic, had a variety of goddesses I invoked, various powers, etc etc. Occasionally things "worked" but there is always a price to pay. Number one is your soul. No one is asking for it because the devil already has it.
Then there is the emotional damage and even physical damage caused to self and others. And the craziness that happens in places where such dark arts are practiced. Things appearing, things flying off shelves, things disappearing! All the work of the devils of darkness and unclean spirits.

Jesus Christ calls us to come out from these
"Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."

A lot of people think they are "stuck" in some religion or practice for a number of reasons, and some just because it feels good, or there's some type of power display, or some sort of fellowship with others of like mind. Yet Christ delivers and gives peace of mind and assurance that you will have eternal life.
But will there be a beer volcano?

A modern take on Heiðrún.
Oh. I don’t know much about Norse mythology or much European mythology.

I was very confused for a moment.

Nope.

Me 9 3/4

I don't understand
This is what atheism looks like.
Non-theists don’t have a book of precepts to live by, so quoting some of theirs as of it has some authority over people (who do not subscribe to the idea of a special book that tells people “how to live”), can elicit a sarcastic response as we see above.

In general it’s “low-hanging fruit” but it’s there, just the same.

No, there shall be a fountain of living waters. Much better than beer. No hangover.

@ Hans Blaster - The Old Testament is Christianity. Or, as some say, the Old Testament is the New Testament concealed. The New Testament is the Old Testament revealed. The "Jewish Scriptures" all point to Jesus Christ, and in some places even prophecy that the Word would go to the Gentiles and thus the entire world.

What do you mean by "self destruct"?
Back in the 80's I spent some time as crew member in a Huey (US Army)....we didn't self-destruct going through clouds...or fog : )

If I were to guess, the cause was a combination of low visibility and pilot misjudgement/error.

Poor weather conditions are a leading cause of helicopter, or rotor aircraft, crashes. According to an analysis presented at a 2021 forum of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, in 28% of all fatal helicopter crashes, weather was a factor.
