Realistically, will anybody notice any difference in the Iranian regime? I rather doubt it.

No.

That's why they waited so long to announce. They knew they were dead but they needed to make sure things were smooth after the announcement.

While the president and such was influential and was planning on being the next SL it's not like there's no backups and replacements.

Ideological purity is the requirement. Khamenei is the only real power.

You believe that God brought about this accident to help advance the political agenda of right-wing Christians and Jews?

Raisi was on the death commission... He's responsible for the extrajudicial executions of over 100,000 Iranians at minimum.

If you think that's your idea of what the left represents (as opposed to right-wing Christians and Jews) then I would answer you with a yes, that my God is against that, and will punish that accordingly when the perpetrators stand before God, but when I talk about the political left, not even in my most critical thoughts do I paint the "left" with such behaviors. Just butchers, which is how Raisi got his nickname the Butcher of Tehran.

Just the fact that this man never achieved the unchecked power he might have potentially achieved is a relief to every single Iranian alive and is cause to celebrate. He was the worst of the worst of humanity. They don't often come any worse.

He's a president. They'll just get a new one, like in every other country.

I really hope this was a legitimate accident because if it's what I'm afraid it is, it can easily start WWIII.
the weather condition they were flying in? No foul play had to be involved to crash that chopper. Only person who could have caused that fog is God Almighty

I agree that this is likely what it seems like. However, with the recent tensions between Israel and Iran, and the reputation of the Mossad, an assassination is at least plausible.

Wouldn't benefit Mossad, guy was a bureaucrat not the actual decision maker. He'll get replaced and because even the THOUGHT of the US or Israel being involved will be used as an excuse, Iran will get nuclear weapons for sure now. Doesn't benefit either the US or Israel at all.
Real person who'd have something to gain directly? Khamenei's son, who is now uncontested for being next in line as supreme leader of Iran (Raisi was his competition), and Khamenei is old, like upper 80's.

French TV channel mistakenly reports Mossad agent ‘Eli Copter’ behind Iran president crash

A presenter for the French language version of i24 reported a joke from Telegram
Shades of that time a news outlet reported the names of the pilots of a crashed Singapore Airlines flight as "Sum Ting Wong", "Wi Tu Lo", and "Bang Ding Ow" (courtesy of an NTSB intern who thought he was funny).

Edit: Asiana Airlines, actually. And there was a 4th name, but it's naughty.

I remembered that and talked to someone about that in context of this lol.. news really gotta check their sources, but I can understand though, yesterday trying to track reports on all this was very confusing, there were claims of cell phone signals being received, 2 year old pictures of Raisi near a helicopter used to try and claim he was found and nothing bad happened "Bad news for Zionists" caption and all.. reports that he was dead with Iranians celebrating with fireworks hours before they found the wreck and could confirm it, all sorts of mixed news without verification.

Did you say the same when Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crashed or is that totally different?

You can pray for the souls of the most evil men who ever lived after they have met their final judgment if you like...

I will celebrate.

I plan on celebrating the day I meet my judgement as well, so I'll at the least not be hypocritical.

:)

I wish I had a divine hitman on my side, sometimes.

You would if you were a follower of Yahweh in Yeshua: Jesus the Messiah. In righteousness he doth judge and make war. He shall destroy all His enemies, and that means the enemies of His elect as well. He will not destroy someone at a whim for anyone, though there are times according to Scripture it has been His will to do so: The Egyptian army drown in the Red Sea, the defeat of Babylon and death of the king Belshazzar who had that night mocked the Holy LORD, He is the only Divine one that can do according to His will in these matters.

Isn’t praying for your enemies kind of a Christian thing? I thought I heard that somewhere.

I will celebrate.
We all have our faults.

So again I gotta ask, did you think God was behind Kobe’s helicopter crash as well or do you only selectively apply this logic? Because it sounds pretty hypocritical to me.

Sounds great. Sadly, I'm already a Discordianist.

Maybe Eris can give people I don't like a bad case of heartburn for me, though.

Not after they are dead... Once they are dead all is done that can ever be done. After you die there is the judgement. That's it.

When you give people condolences it's for their pain, you feel badly because they lost someone they loved.

I don't think Raisi has any loved ones who aren't likewise murderous.... Pretty sure his wife (or wives) will be celebrating...

Ohh.... Okay so you don't understand the sovereignty of God.

Let's get some articles for you, but generally I don't think anything occurs without God allowing it to occur. This includes death or things we generally think of as being bad.

So regardless it's ultimately God. Even bad weather or faulty black market parts. All things are within His Hand.

So, since I was happy, the Christian thing is "to God be the Glory."

There's a whole list of Christian things. Sad? To God be the Praise. (More helpful than you realize) And the list can go on. But I was feeling like giving God the Glory.

Very much the same as Islam, where (whether it be wonderful or terrible) "God is Great."

That does not matter. I was once a Satanist, sorcerer, practitioner of magic arts, worked with someone who used chaos magic, had a variety of goddesses I invoked, various powers, etc etc. Occasionally things "worked" but there is always a price to pay. Number one is your soul. No one is asking for it because the devil already has it.
Then there is the emotional damage and even physical damage caused to self and others. And the craziness that happens in places where such dark arts are practiced. Things appearing, things flying off shelves, things disappearing! All the work of the devils of darkness and unclean spirits.

Jesus Christ calls us to come out from these
"Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead."

A lot of people think they are "stuck" in some religion or practice for a number of reasons, and some just because it feels good, or there's some type of power display, or some sort of fellowship with others of like mind. Yet Christ delivers and gives peace of mind and assurance that you will have eternal life.
