I was wondering if it might be a NO NO now ? It was fun when we were kids. Is it something that is common everywhere?

It sounds like a dig to latins? I wondered if it was a racist thing. Why would Pig Latin be a no-no now? Yes, I grew up knowing it. There was a lesser known Turkey Talk that was similar but added "obble" or "gobble" instead of "ay." Both were games that originated or was practiced in the fields as a way of passing the time while doing repetitive work.
Naw. It comes from a time when Latin was part of higher education, so you had Latin, and then you had Pig Latin. It's a joke that exercises the mind just a little. It sounds like a dig to latins? I wondered if it was a racist thing.
